TOPIC: Understanding the Disappearance of Canadian Tech Firms: Results of a New Study
Drs. Barber and Crelinsten have interviewed a number of the leaders of emerging Canadian technology vendors and their funders to understand the particular challenges to growth these companies face. Their conclusion is stark: Canada is wasting the productive talents of many brilliant (and courageous) knowledge-based entrepreneurs. The authors will describe their research and discuss some of the radical changes we need to correct this situation.
