ITAC is pleased to host Rob Dowler, the Corporate Chief Strategist for the Government of Ontario, on Thursday, November 26 at 8 am for Session 5 in our series on I&IT.  This session will deal with collaboration and web modernization.

In this session, Rob Dowler will provide a an overview and discussion on the provincial government’s Collaboration and Web Modernization initiatives, what they are, how they work, and the important role the IT vendor community can play to support them.

ITAC members, including senior leaders and public sector managers will want to attend this session to learn:

  • Why the Government is modernizing most of its external and internal facing websites
  • The role and impact of the new Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) on Government and other websites
  • How the Government is using collaboration tools externally and internally to improve its interactions with the public and with staff
  • What is the Government’s approach to modernization efforts
  • Where vendors can best play a role
