Are you interested in the use of standards to support safe and effective health information exchange? Join colleagues from around the world in Toronto in October 2010 for a meeting of the International Health Terminology Standards Development Organizations global community of practice. Participants will meet to set direction for the association, work collaboratively on projects and through special interest groups, and participate in tutorials and other educational events. The meetings are a key opportunity to exchange and learn from global experiences in implementing SNOMED CT, a standardized clinical terminology that aims to support health information exchange and foster interoperability.
