Speaker: Patti-Ann Marzocco, Vice-president, Original Equipment Manufacturers, Microsoft Canada

Patti-Ann Marzocco likes building things.  At Microsoft Canada, she works with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMS) to pre-install Microsoft operating systems and applications on PCs, servers, phones and consumer electronics.  She has also built one of Microsoft Canada’s highest performing sales teams, which has won numerous awards.  Before coming to Microsoft, Patti-Ann successfully built two high-tech start-ups.

Tech careers that successfully transfer knowledge gained from both the entrepreneurial and corporate spheres are a hallmark of ICT.  Entrepreneurialism is a prized quality among recruitiers for some of our largest firms.  But making the successful transition is not always as easy as Patti-Ann has made it look.  The third presentation in ITAC and CWC’s speakers series will explore how lessons learned from successfully building a company or two can inform choices and decisions as you apply your talents to helping a global technology leader succeed.  Using the interactive format that has become the hallmark of this speakers series, Patti-Ann will share her experiences and insights, including a female perspective on how to build first class sales teams.  Please join us for a lively conversation with one of the most intriguing members of Microsoft’s senior leadership team.  Please note that seating for this presentation is limited.  To avoid disappointment, please register early.
