ITAC invites you to join us at our upcoming Board of Governors Dinner, April 21 in Brampton:
"The Role of Diversity in Advancing Innovation and Better Business"
Keynote speakers are Eric Gales, President of Microsoft Canada, and Deborah Gillis, Senior Vice-President, Membership and Global Operations, Catalyst.
Only about 24% of the ICT workforce is female. This ratio has been the status quo for a decade. For an industry that exists to continuously challenge and improve the status quo, this performance is puzzling. For an industry whose number one industrial issue is the availability of talent, this performance is a major inhibitor to our growth.
The next ITAC Board of Governors Dinner will focus the attention of the ICT industry on the imperative to improve our engagement and retention of half of the available workforce. Deborah Gillis, Senior Vice President, Membership and Global Operations, Catalyst, will present the business case for better integration of women into all aspects of business. And Eric Gales, President of Microsoft Canada, will detail why the ICT industry specifically needs to improve its performance in this vital area. Together they will provide a compelling challenge to complacency.
Please joint us for what may well prove to be a turning point in the ICT industry's overall talent strategy.
