On January 15, Corinne Charette, Canada’s Federal Chief Information Officer (CIO) kicks off the ITAC Executive Briefing Series on ICT Transformation in Government with an address on the "New Role of CIOs". This is the first in a series of events designed to help ICT industry members better understand Government plans for transformation. Corinne's talk will focus on the evolving and pivotal role of Departmental CIOs in modernizing Government services.
This outstanding event series provides a unique opportunity for industry/Government discussion at critical points during the transformation process. Representatives from the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and Shared Services Canada are committed to lead various sessions to share the latest news and to talk directly with industry participants to get their feedback. It also includes interactive breakfast information sessions and several outlook conferences, involving in-depth dialogue on key issues. Attendance is essential for organizations with an interest in the Government's ICT transformation and upcoming procurements.
