Canada is embarking on a new Innovation Agenda that aims to revitalize and refuel our healthcare system. But not for the first time. Previous attempts have done little to help Canada to catch up with other OECD countries, let alone become a leader. How is the new Agenda different? Will we repeat past mistakes and invest in mediocrity or will we propel Canada’s health system to new heights? Come learn how you can influence our Innovation Agenda and help Canada become a leader in health system innovation again.

The National Institutes of Health Informatics (NIHI) is holding this important two-part online series on Canada’s innovation agenda in health care on December 6 and 13 from 12 PM to 1:30 PM ETWe need to understand why we are falling behind other OECD countries and how we can change this so Canada can become a leader again. We are contacting you, as a key stakeholder, to ask you to please register (see special offer below) to attend and participate in the discussions, and to help us by letting your colleagues, membership and staff know about series.

The series will review how successful we have been with past innovation programs and examine our current agenda to see if we can more successful this time. It will look at how we can influence this innovation agenda and how can we help Canada become a leader in health system innovation again.
