Shared Services Canada (SCC) was established by the federal Government in 2011 to improve the efficiency, reliability and security of its IT infrastructure.  All three of these elements of SCC’s mandate fall squarely within Kevin Radford’s responsibility for operations.  Mr. Radford will discuss plans to address the challenges of achieving costs savings, while at the same time, improving the reliability and security of the Government’s IT infrastructure.

  Kevin Radford Photo Kevin Radford joined Shared Services Canada (SSC) in November 2011 as the Senior Assistant Deputy Minister, Operations where he is responsible for maintaining the operations for the three core services for our 43 partners. Kevin was previously at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) where he held the position of Vice President, Information Management and Information Technology. Prior to joining the CFIA, he held numerous senior executive positions in both the CIO and Materiel / Procurement Branches of DND/CF providing leadership of sector programs for a large, multi-disciplinary and professional staff and providing key services to over 135K users both home and abroad.Kevin holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering and Management from the Royal Military College of Canada, a Master’s of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business, and participated in the Executive Program in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, also with the Schulich School of Business.
