INVITATION: National Contact Point Stakeholder Session- Due Diligence under the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises

On behalf of Mr. Duane McMullen, Chair of Canada’s National Contact Point (NCP) for the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, you are cordially invited to participate in the NCP’s 2016 Stakeholder Session on the OECD Guidelines.

The focus of the event will be on Due Diligence for Responsible Business Conduct, including in supply chains.  The NCP is very pleased to welcome Mr. Peter Iliopoulos, Senior V.P., Public and Corporate Affairs and Ms. Julie Cournoyer, Director, Corporate Social Responsibility, at Gildan Activewear (Montreal, Quebec) to discuss their company’s leading edge policies and practices in this area.  Participants will also be introduced to the OECD Guidelines due diligence recommendations and the activities of the NCP.  You will also have the opportunity to engage in break-out group discussions with other stakeholders on what due diligence means in practice .

Come and network with members of Canada’s National Contact Point, businesses, investors, non-governmental organizations and CSR experts.
