BTM TalentMash 2015 – BTM: The New Breed of IT Worker
The BTM TalentMash is designed to connect employers with Business Technology Management (BTM) students and recent graduates, spread awareness about the BTM program, and create a forum for students to network and have an opportunity for professional development.
Offered since 2013, BTM TalentMash has become the must-attend event for employers looking for the next generation of talent. Last year’s event was another great success with over 400 students and over 60 employer representatives. We continue to build on this success and we are counting on your support.
This year’s conference theme is BTM: The New Breed of IT Worker. We have assembled an excellent program including key note speakers; a competition which, with the excellent quality and number of submissions for last year’s competition, we expect will be a fun and exciting event; skills sessions and a Career Fair. ITAC Talent created the CareerMash initiative in 2007. CareerMash spreads the word about the endless possibilities of today’s tech careers. We want everyone to get excited about how cool technologies are bringing innovation to everything – environment, health care, entertainment, shopping, mobility, our social lives and more. CareerMash helps to demystify technology by helping students, teachers, guidance counsellors, parents – and anyone else who is interested – understand all the different ways the world is being changed by technology and the new career opportunities these changes are creating.
The CareerMash event is designed as a platform to provide exciting experiences and motivate high school students to pursue tech related careers. Run for the second year, attendance at this year’s CareerMash conference is expected to exceed 1000 Grade 9 and 10 students representing high schools across Toronto and the GTA.
We have assembled an excellent program that includes keynote speakers, panel discussions and a Career Tech Fair of corporate and post-secondary institution exhibitors resulting in an exciting and rewarding event! (Watch a clip of last year’s event)
