ITAC congratulates the Prime Minister on his new Cabinet and looks forward to working with the Federal Government to make the adoption of information communications technology (ICT) in Canadian business a key priority in the fall Speech from the Throne.

We believe that greater use of  ICT is the key to power up the economy for jobs and growth.  ITAC seeks to start dialog immediately with new Ministers at the key ICT-related portfolios of Industry, Employment and Social Development, Science and Technology and Public Works and Government Services Canada.  As well, we will continue to work with Ministers of Finance, and International Trade.  We congratulate all Ministers on their new or continuing portfolios.
