For the first time, a North American city—Montreal—will play host to a regional event associated with the Smart City Expo World Congress, the leading meeting place for public administrators, international experts, research institutes and centres as well as businesses specialized in the development of the cities of the future.
ITAC is one of several organizing sponsors of the event, which will be held December 10-12 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal. François Morin, vice-president of ITAC Quebec, is a member of the Smart City MTL 2014 advisory committee.
Based in Barcelona, the Smart City Expo World Congress and its regional events examines subjects that include urban resilience, sustainable mobility, energy and climate change, and open government.
