Nominations deadline extended to July 9: ITAC Ingenious Awards and CanadianCIO of the Year Awards programs

Toronto, ON (June 26, 2018) – Today, the Information and Technology Association of Canada (ITAC) has announced a deadline extension for organizations wishing to submit nominations for the 2018 ITAC Ingenious Awards and the CanadianCIO of the Year Awards programs.

 The deadline has been extended to Monday, July 9, 2018.

Nominees and award recipients include Canadians who work in business, government and other public-sector organizations and not-for-profit entities.  Launched in 2011, the ITAC Ingenious Awards program invites nominations from across Canada’s ICT industry, from organizations that have realized significant results through the innovative use of information and communications technology (ICT).  The two CanadianCIO of the Year Awards recognize overall excellence among Canada’s community of Chief Information Officers (CIOs) – one from the private sector and the other from the public sector.

Awards Categories

There are six ITAC Ingenious nominations categories from which to choose:

  • Large Private Sector
  • Large Public Sector
  • Medium Size Private Business
  • Small Size Private Business
  • Small to Medium Size Public Sector / Not-for-Profit
  • Ingenious Spark (new growth)

Awards Gala

The ITAC Ingenious Awards and CanadianCIO Awards will be presented on November 6, 2018 at the Omni King Edward Hotel, in Toronto, ON.
