Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) and McKesson Canada announced recently that RelayHealth has achieved Infoway’s Category II Uni-Directional Consumer Health Application certification.

“The Infoway certification process is designed to ensure that a digital health solution meets a prescribed set of standards and we congratulate McKesson Canada for achieving certification for their RelayHealth consumer health application,” said Trevor Hodge, Executive Vice President, Canada Health Infoway.

In order to achieve certification, RelayHealth underwent a process to demonstrate that it met or exceeded a series of pre-defined, domain specific assessment criteria, ensuring it conforms to global and national standards for privacy, security and interoperability set by Infoway’s Certification Services.

RelayHealth is a web-based service that enables a secure exchange of health information between patients and their health care providers, allowing them to share test results, book appointments and make electronic referrals.
