Unique Leadership Training Opportunity Available

Do you have future leaders in your organization’s ranks that could benefit from some unique leadership training?

The Privy Council Office is looking for high-potential employees to participate in the Governor General’s 2015 Canadian Leadership Conference.

The GGLC provides an excellent opportunity for the future leaders to:

• Improve decision-making abilities among young leaders likely to occupy high level positions in the near future
• Facilitate a more progressive era of interaction between leaders from business, labour, government and the broader community
• Acquire a broader understanding of our country.

The conference will explore the themes of leadership and innovation, and examine the role that leaders play in stimulating, driving, managing and diffusing innovation in their organizations and communities.

The conference opens with a weekend session in St. John’s with presentations by Canadian and global thinkers, followed by an intensive study tour in a province or territory. On the tour participants will see first-hand how leaders shape outcomes for their organizations and society as whole. The conference closes on June 5 in Ottawa with participants reporting the results of the tour directly to the Governor General.

Conference members are nominated by their organizations as high potential individuals wou are expected to achieve senior roles within the next ten years.
