Next-Gen Employee Experience
Pam Ross
With four generations in the workplace and digital natives set to make up 50% of the workforce by 2020, it is essential the leaders and human resources teams take a look at how they are engaging people at work throughout the employee experience. We'll look at the expectations that digital natives have of their workplace and the role social media plays. While we have all seen the exponential growth in technology and social media, we may not have explored the impact we as HR professionals can have by developing a social workplace through the use of social tools behind the firewall. We will examine the path of the employee experience, from recruitment to performance, and how organizations can USE social technology and BE social at each step. We'll look at 5 tools that HR and business can use to engage and connect their workforce effectively. We'll discuss how specific organizations are employing social technology and how it is affecting engagement and productivity.
