Public sector procurement has topped the list of issues impacting the vendor community for the past three years. Allocation of risk, terms and conditions, the inconsistent application of standards and other factors have converged to stifle innovation and increase the cost and risk of submitting proposals. This is a national challenge that covers procurements by governments and the broader public sector.
ITAC Health has made public sector procurement our top priority and is seeking your input into how to tackle this challenging issue. On March 21, 2013 ITAC Health is hosting a one-day workshop at the Hotel Intercontinental in Toronto. Join Auditor General for Ontario, Jim McCarter, a panel of government and health customers and a panel of vendors to explore the issues and challenges. Then participate in an interactive workshop to help define the industry’s position and ITAC Health’s go-forward action plan.
