Two ITAC members have been named winners in the Toronto Region Board of Trade Business Excellence Awards.

BNOTIONS, a mobile, data, and analytics innovation firm, won in the Employer of the Year category. Compugen Finance Inc, the leasing arm of Compugen Inc., an IT services company, took the top prize in the Sustainability category.
“Celebrating business excellence is a wonderful reason to come together,” said Darren Nippard, a member of the Toronto Region Board of Trade’s board of directors at the event. “This year’s winners have started new businesses, been innovative, grown their businesses locally and abroad,and given back immeasurably to their community. We’re honoured to celebrate their success.”

The awards recognize the valuable contribution of the region’s small and medium businesses and honour emerging entrepreneurs who have demonstrated outstanding growth, leadership and innovation in business.

Nominations were made in eight categories.The awards were handed out November 6 at the Toronto Don Valley Hotel.
