It’s all over but the waiting now.
At least for the 19 CIO’s nominated by their colleagues for the inaugural ITAC CanadianCIO of the Year Awards. For our judges, there is plenty of work to do before November 12, when the winner will be announced.
“We had tremendous interest in the Award and our judges have their hands full trying to narrow the submissions down to a single winner,” says Karna Gupta, President the CEO of ITAC. “The passion of the people making the submissions was very uplifting. Clearly the role of CIO commands respect.”
Presented by ITAC, CanadianCIO and the CIO Association of Canada, the ITAC CanadianCIO of the Year Award will recognize an outstanding CIO who demonstrates the qualities of business and technological vision, entrepreneurship, a capacity to drive enterprise transformation and a measurable operational strength that delivers shareholder or stakeholder value.
Entries were received from across Canada from the private sector, the public sector and the not-for-profit sector. Thanks to all those who took the time to make a nomination. The award will be presented at ITAC’s Ingenious Awards Gala on November 12, 2014 in Toronto.
We look forward to seeing you there
