  • Chris Herrndorf, Vice-President of HR Shared Services at RBC will discuss the 15 year journey that now sees his department delivering services to 95% of 80,000 people across RBC’s global workforce. You’ll hear insights into dealing with challenges domestically and abroad, and the actions needed to ensure efficiency.
  • Barbara Quinn, Author of Shared Services: Mining for Corporate Gold will speak to current and emerging models of shared services, why many implementations fail, what ingredients have to be present for successful implementations, and what leaders need to do to effectively manage and mature their organization’s approach to shared services.
  • Aaron Nichols, Vice-President of Governance, Security and Service Management at Innovapost Inc. will discuss how shared services have become a crucial strategic asset in Canada Posts five-point transformation strategy.

You’ll also hear about the transformation processes underway in some of Canada’s largest organizations and the opportunities that effective transformation leadership provides, as well as the implications for management roles and their changing workforce.
