Annie is a Managing Director with Grenville Strategic Royalty Corp., a publicly traded Toronto-based company that provides royalty-based finance solutions to growing technology and service businesses. Grenville has identified a large and underserviced finance market for companies generating up to $50 million in revenue. The unique non-dilutive royalty financing offered by Grenville is designed to provide investees the capital they need to grow their business as an alternative to or in combination with traditional debt or equity until sufficient cost effective capital is available to them on more attractive commercial terms.

Prior to joining Grenville, Annie held the position of Senior Investment Manager, Direct Equity Investments with Export Development Canada. She spent the majority of her career at Northwater Capital Management in progressively senior roles focused on the firm’s Intellectual Property Funds, the Fund of Funds portfolio, the development of novel credit derivative instruments and its risk parity quantitative portfolio. She has also held positions at TD Securities and Deloitte, focused on currency and credit products, and risk and regulatory management, respectively. Annie obtained her Ph.D. Management with specialization in finance from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, is a CFA Charterholder and holds the ICD.D designation. She also holds a Master of Arts in Business Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Mount Allison University.
