ITAC is joining a group of 25 sponsors and partners, more than 30 speakers, McMaster University’s Computing Infrastructure Research Centre (CIRC) and research/analyst firm InsightaaS to support the Great Canadian Data Centre Symposium, June 19th– 20th, at McMaster Innovation Park in Hamilton.
What is #GCDCS19?
#GCDCS19 is a two-day event. Day one (June 19th) features a unique Academic Congress, followed by the Canadian Data Centre Excellence Awards gala dinner. The second-annual Symposium will be held on June 20th: it is a full-day event with a rich agenda. Attendees will learn from, network with and provide their own insight to a group of ~230 senior technologists and other data centre professionals, academics, data centre design experts and suppliers of data centre facilities, services and equipment.
We are just TWO WEEKS AWAY from *the* data centre event of the year – the 2019 edition of The Great Canadian Data Centre Symposium! The #GCDCS19 website now lists 36 speakers – including 14 CIOs, CTOs, EVP/VP/AVPs of IT, and directors/senior managers from some of Canada’s leading IT users. The speakers roster also includes six CEOs/Presidents/Founders, 9 Ph.Ds from Canada and the US, and 10 VIPs and sponsor-supplied speakers who have traveled from all parts of this content and from as far away as Paris.
The agenda is locked: the first-ever GCDCS19 Academic Congress, followed by the inaugural Canadian Data Centre Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on June 19th; the second-annual Symposium, with an all-star plenary session, five panels focused on the most important data centre topics, four ‘deep dive’ breakouts , a plenary keynote from Eugene Roman, and a networking reception held on the grounds of McMaster Innovation Park on June 20th..
All we are missing is – YOU! And we want to fix that. Until Friday, June 14, we will offer both buy-side and sell-side attendees a special rate for the Symposium: $50 (rather than $150) for buy-side professionals, and $500 (rather than $600) for sell-side staff members. And until June 14, all Symposium registrants can extend their #GCDCS19 experience to include the Academic Congress and the CDCXA Awards Gala Dinner for an additional $50.
