ITAC Health is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a Digital Health Day reception at Queen’s Park for the ITAC Health members on May 9th. The overall objective for the day is to generate awareness of issues to enable further investment in Digital Health especially in the community and to increase the ITAC Health profile at Queen’s Park and throughout the wider community.
ITAC Health Members are invited to register reception to meet with Ministers, MPPs, political staff, industry members, and other fellow ITAC Health members. The reception will prove to be a valuable networking events and provide us the opportunity to discuss how Digital Health has improved health care in Ontario and the barriers that need to be addressed to continue to improve the quality of care, access and patient experience in Ontario.
We will have a fantastic line up of speakers that includes…
- Jeff Yurek, Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario
- Michael Green, President and CEO of Canada Health Infoway
- France Gelinas, Health Critic, New Democratic Party of Ontario
- Dr. Price, Professor and Chair of the Department of Family Medicine, McMaster University
- The Honourable Eric Hoskins, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, Liberal Party of Ontario.
Their presentations will be focused on connecting all areas of health care (including the community), addressing the accomplishments so far and discussing what still needs to be done, with suggested ideas on what we might want to do differently.
Registered participants are invited to participate in the outreach to Ontario MPPs leading up to the event. If you register by May 1st, you will be matched with your MPP and a formal invitation letter will be sent to them letting them know you will be attending. In order to be matched with your correct MPP, please provide us with the full address (address, city and postal code) of your office and/or home office – send to ehuesing@itac.ca . If you live and work outside of Ontario, feel free to use an address that you may use for your business in Ontario.
The reception will be an amazing opportunity for networking, hearing from the decision makers in Ontario and meeting representatives from your own local constituencies
