The Ontario Ministry of Health is seeking health care innovators to help improve health care system navigation
The Ministry of Health is hosting a Virtual Market Sounding Day to harness the expertise of health care innovators on how to respond to patient and provider insights to improve health care system navigation. This is the first step to inform an innovative public procurement process to secure a vendor to help design a health system navigation solution that better supports patients, families and caregivers in navigating the health care system and offers the features Ontarians want. The objective of Market Sounding Day is to engage the imagination and capabilities of health innovators to help determine market capacity, readiness and interest, and to promote competition to establish a new delivery model for a digitally-enabled tool to support health system navigation. We are also engaging with patients and the general public to understand how a health system navigation tool could best support patient and caregiver needs.
