Why Attend

The RESI Conference has been designed to bring together fundraising CEOs and early stage investors from around the world.  Participants in the Ontario Trade Mission will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with investors and potential partners, take the pulse on the latest biotech and medtech investment trends, hear from investment and company executives, present their company’s value proposition to investors, and network with peers and potential partners.

RESI features a wide range of investor categories, including: angel syndicates, family offices and private wealth firms, corporate venture capitalists, venture philanthropy groups, foundations and endowments, big pharma companies, mid-level private equity firms, government organizations, and venture capital investors.

Business Partnering/Investor Meetings

The Partnering/Investor Meetings will be arranged directly through LSN’s partnering system.  Participants will be able to filter by: sector, indication and phase of development in order to identify the most appropriate investors for their specific interest.  Companies will be able to schedule up to 16 meetings for a maximum period of 30 minutes each.  The partnering system will open in a few weeks.

 Location of

The Conference will take place at the Westin Copley Place, 10 Huntington Ave, Boston (downtown).

 Hotel Accommodation

Information about hotel suggestions has been posted on the conference website.  You may wish to start looking for accommodation which is very expensive in Boston.  Several companies in the past have opted for guest house accommodation given the expense of hotels in Boston.

Participation Fee

The non-refundable fee to participate in the Trade Mission is C$350.00.  The fee covers the participation for one company representative and includes attendance at all conference sessions, participation in the Partnering meetings, all networking, social events and meals where specified.  Additional company personnel are welcome to attend at the fee of US $895.00 if registered before July 22, 2016.   In the unlikely event that a company cancels its participation after acceptance and payment, the company will be invoiced for the full amount of the RESI registration fee minus the participation fee paid.
