TECHNATION, Canada’s national tech industry association, has recently launched an open business intelligence platform called the TECH2GOV Digital Marketplace. This platform is open to all incorporated technology companies in Canada, to register and showcase all areas of their technology specialization and experience. (https://technationportal.ca)
The objective of this unique government-industry collaboration is to improve industry access, in particular for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), by leveraging the TECHNATION Digital Marketplace and the simplified submission process under Shared Service Canada’s (SSC’s) Procurement Process 3.0.
Your feedback is central to our work in transforming procurement with the Government of Canada. At last week’s feedback session, we heard your concerns about the ongoing procurement process, the complexity of the Procurement Process 3.0 and the Invitation to Refine (ITR) sessions.
Your feedback is provided directly into government.
Our next Digital Marketplace Feedback Call is this Thursday, July 16, 2020, from 10:30-11:00. Call-in information is below.
This week, we will be discussing the following topics:
- Did you participate in the Invitation to Refine sessions? What was your experience? Was it worthwhile? What do you expect to come of this process?
- Having now completed the initial webinars and Invitation to Refine sessions, do you feel prepared to participate in this solicitation? What information remains missing?
- What is your impression of the agile procurement 3.0 process? Are you clear on its intent and process?
Please join us on Thursday, or submit your feedback to Andrew Walker, Senior Policy Analyst.
