Once again ITAC will be leading mission of Canadian ICT companies to Arab Health 2016, the largest health trade show in the Gulf region from January 25-28, 2016.

 If you are a Canadian ICT company in the health, security or applications space looking to explore this market, the mission presents an excellent opportunity to gain introductions to business partners in the region, develop a solid understanding of how business is conducted in the UAE, and learn about the many strategic opportunities a presence in this region can afford. The ICT market in the region is rich with opportunity: The Middle East is one of the fastest growing IT markets in the World.   The UAE is the second largest ICT market on the Arabian Peninsula with a growth rate of 4.6 per cent it is expected to  be worth $17 billion in 2017.  ICT spending in healthcare in the UAE is growing by 13% per year as part of a major commitment to smart cities and urban infrastructure investment. Cyber and homeland security spend in the Middle East market is estimated to between $23 billion and $25 billion over the next decade. UAE represents 40 per cent of this spend. IT security in the Middle East continues to grow at 15 per cent a year.
