The Federal Government has called for input on its proposals for a compliance framework to prevent and punish abuse of programs for the temporary access of foreign workers such as the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and the International Mobility Program. With low-unemployment, the ICT sector depends on these programs and has a large stake in ensuring they are not abused but also believes the framework for compliance must be fair and transparent.
