Canada’s leading Government and Technology Exhibition and Conference (GTEC) has recognized the thought leadership behind two newly released Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC) white papers titled: Internet of Things: Time for A National Discourse and Cloud Computing: Transforming the Government of Canada for the Digital Economy.
Both of the ITAC whitepapers have been developed to outline the policy implications of advanced technology as well as the challenges and recommendations the industry believes are important the evolution of IoT and Cloud Computing. ITAC’s goal was national discourse and now the Canadian Government will be having an open dialogue with key industry players at GTEC to look at solutions to help governments reduce costs, improve deployment of resources, and promote economic development.
On October 21st, ITAC President & CEO, Karna Gupta will moderate the cloud panel at GTEC with delegates from the BC Government, Service Now, and Salesforce. On October 20th, Trajan Schulzke from Industry Canada’s will moderate the IoT panel that will leverage ITACs IoT paper as a basis for discussion and explore the implications of the digital revolution.
