As we go about our regular business within Canada’s ICT community, it is easy to take for granted what we have, and what we contribute to Canada’s economy. Opportunities to come together to celebrate our accomplishments are all too rare. ICT is the most significant contributor to the Canadian economy, we have amble reason to celebrate success and achievement.

With that in mind, I hope you will join us in Toronto on November 27 for ITAC’s second Ingenious Awards Gala—a special event to recognize some outstanding achievements in applying innovative ICT approaches to improve the performance of businesses, government operations, and not-for-profit organizations.

Our judges have pored over more than 60 entries to select winners in five categories. They saw some exceptional examples of how excellence and innovation in ICT can make significant changes in the way people work, access services, and communicate.

The winners of the Ingenious Awards represent the best of what our sector is doing to improve business and life in Canada, and help build a leading digital economy.

On November 27, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Allstream Centre at Toronto’s Exhibition Place, we will come together as an industry to recognize those achievements. All the details can be found here.

I sincerely hope to see many of you there.
