Four senior CIO’s from the Ontario government joined the province’s Corporate Chief Information Officer David Nicholl  for a Dec. 1 panel discussion examining procurement issues.

Hosted by ITAC, the event drew 250 industry players who listened carefully to as the CIO’s detailed the government’s plans to further embrace technological solutions in pursuit of improved service and fiscal responsibility.

The panel included:  Liz MacKenzie, Head, IT Source, Marty Gallas, Corporate Chief, ITS, Robert Devries, CIO, ServiceOntario and Economic Ministries I&IT Cluster, and Howard Bertran, CIO, Labour and Transportation.

ITAC’s next CIOO Breakfast is scheduled for the Spring.
