As Director, Outsourcing & Technology with Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI), Lynda is responsible for attracting foreign direct investment opportunities into Nova Scotia, Canada. Ms. Arsenault brings over 17 years of experience in business development, Information technology, sales and marketing both in the public and private sector. Her current role involves travelling internationally helping to streamline the process for clients looking to invest in and grow the Nova Scotia business economy. Lynda has been an integral part of NSBI since 2006, prior to this Lynda worked in a management role at Clear Picture Corporation, an IT company that specializes in on-line employee surveys in over 80 countries and in a national sales and marketing role for Carmichael Engineering, a company which provides services for commercial applications across Canada. Lynda is a member of various Boards and associations including; Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) Board member Halifax Chapter, Ex-Officio Board member of Contact Centre Nova Scotia (CCNS), Ex-Officio Board member of Digital Nova Scotia (DNS), Information Technology Council of Canada (ITAC), Canadian International Council (CIC) Executive and sits on the Executive Committee of Canadian Women in Technology (CanWIT), Halifax Chapter. Lynda is a seasoned Country panelist and speaker at Global Technology and Outsourcing events.
Ms. Arsenault holds a Master’s Degree in E-commerce (MEC) from Dalhousie University and an undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s University. She has also completed the Web Page/Multimedia Design program at Nova Scotia Institute of Technology and holds the Designation – Certified International Trade Professional CITP©/FIBP©. Lynda spends her time mentoring soon-to-be new graduates and has been an active volunteer with Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia, United Way and the Canadian Cancer Society for over eight years.
