A Ryerson University student will breathe a little easier next semester thanks to the efforts of more than 120 golfers taking part in the 21st annual ITAC IT Golf Tournament September 17 at Eagles Nest Golf Club.

A deserving Information Technology Management student will get a $5,000 boost, scholarship money raised by the donation of golfers who participated in a silent auction, a raffle draw and the spectacular helicopter ball drop that saw 100 gold balls dumped from a helicopter on the 18th fairway.

“This is a great opportunity to bring the vendor and ICT community together for our fellowship, competition, and perhaps the opportunity to forge some new business ties, in a relaxed atmosphere, says ITAC President and CEO Karna Gupta.
“That we have an opportunity to help assist a student who will become part of our industry is an added plus.”

ITAC would like to thank our presenting sponsor Oracle, our Gold sponsors Cisco, Ricoh and Xerox and all the other corporate sponsors that made the day possible.
